Birthing him from the loins feels like yesterday.. Went into labor.. sent home with morphine and loopty loo- went back the next morn.. ate a red popsicle.. Thinking fentanyl was the drug of choice.. Labor starts getting cray-cray.. baby's heart rate drops.. Dr pushes my large rotund self on my large bed down the hall (not caring that there was a nurse or a doorframe in the way).. buzzing past mi familia in the waiting room.. Finally.. a sweet baby was born.. Lots of dark black hair.. Crying.. My sweet boy.
